Job summary
Office Manager
Mossessian Architecture is seeking a proactive Office Manager to take ownership of our operations and keep our international studio running seamlessly. You’ll combine strong organisational and accounting skills with an eye for detail, ensuring smooth processes for a growing team currently at 25.
As the central point of coordination, you’ll support both people and projects, driving efficiency and enabling growth. You’ll be part of a dynamic, multicultural team where your impact on the studio’s success will be clear and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion people & culture
Lead onboarding, contracts, and HR processes, creating a smooth and welcoming experience for our international team.
- Ensure compliance
Support the team in meeting UK employment law requirements and best practice.
- Partner with leadership
Work hand-in-hand with the Business Director to keep operations efficient and aligned with company goals.
- Drive financial clarity
Monitor cash flow, prepare project accounts, and support financial stability and profitability across our portfolio.
- Enable design excellence
Support project teams by exploring and implementing AI processes and systems that support quality, efficiency and productivity.
- Shape our commercial edge
Collaboratively prepare proposals and keep key documentation sharp, accurate, and client-ready.
- Run the show
Oversee all aspects of office administration, from day-to-day operations to occasional evening events, ensuring the studio runs seamlessly.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone dynamic and detail-driven, with:
- Experience in an architecture, design or construction office
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of autonomy but able to work collaboratively across different disciplines
- Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving studio
- Familiarity with UK employment law, compliance and processes
- Demonstrable experience in producing presentations, reports and proposals
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting preparation, project accounting and financial reporting is highly desirable
- Adobe InDesign skills are highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Accounting software
